Privacy Policy

Checkride Ready is a small study-aid web app run by Kemar, a sole proprietor based in North Carolina ("we", "us"). This policy explains in plain English what we collect, why, and the choices you have.

What we collect

• Account data: your email address and, if you provide it, your name. If you sign in with Google, we receive your email and name from Google.
• Study progress: the checkride you're studying for, quiz answers and scores, missed questions, and your mock oral exam answers and debriefs.
• Tutoring requests: the details you send on the tutoring form, such as name, email, phone (optional), test, format, session length, target date, availability and message.
• Contact messages: your name, email, topic and message when you use the contact form.

How we use it

We use your information to run your account, save and show your progress, generate mock oral feedback, respond to tutoring and contact requests, manage your plan, and keep the service secure. Your mock oral answers are sent to an AI service to produce examiner questions and feedback.

Payments

Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card number. We keep a record of your plan, its status and Stripe's customer reference so we know what you have access to.

Cookies and analytics

We use cookies and browser storage to keep you logged in. We also collect basic visit statistics (such as pages viewed) to understand how the site is used. We do not use advertising trackers.

We don't sell your data

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share it only with the service providers that help us run the app (hosting, database, AI and payments), and only as needed to provide the service, or when required by law.

Retention and deletion

We keep your information while your account is active and as long as needed to provide the service and meet legal or tax obligations. You can ask us to delete your account and data at any time through the contact page.

Children

Checkride Ready is not for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child under 13 has given us information, contact us and we'll delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. If we make significant changes, we'll update the effective date above and, where appropriate, let you know in the app.
